TabTrade — What It Is
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is not narrow.
Platforms
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Many pick one platform. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Many people find it more natural after using both.
FIX API is available for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That should make the platform set when it arrives.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
This is the area where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
This is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It should inform how you think about it.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
