TabTrade - Is It Worth Opening an Account

TabTrade — What It Is

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail matters. It suggests the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.

What You Trade On

You get: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently coming. That will make the platform set when it lands.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.

Combine that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. None of this make it safe. But be part of how you think about it.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense is your call.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.

The complete breakdown, including regulation, withdrawals, pricing, and tab trade review the bonus terms, is at Trade The Day.
